Natalia, Excellent post on intercultural awareness! My specialty is people-skills for customer relations and teamwork. Nowadays, with customer service reps in one country serving customers in another, it is more important than ever that professionals develop intercultural skills. For years I have taught that different countries have various ways of expressing themselves (beyond language). Your example of Latin American cultures and how others misinterpret their behaviors is right on target. I will put your post on Twitter for others to appreciate.
My latest post on intercultural training, may interest you ...<a href="http://katenasser.com/the-best-csrs-get-inter-cultural-training-canada-usa/." target="_blank">http://katenasser.com/the-best-csrs-get-inter-cul...</a> I welcome your comments.

Warmest wishes and thanks for your post.
