    La Viruta has a tango school (3-ring circus) for the 20-40 something crowd who are more interested in meeting someone than learning to dance well. Horacio Godoy and Luis Solanas run this "factory" four nights a week and offer a mixed bag of tango styles. The dances don't respect the traditional codes of the milongas, so it's a very relaxed atmosphere for socializing. It's the place where the older set goes to dance with chicas.

    The 50+ dancer will find El Beso, Maipu 444, Gricel, Salon La Leonesa, and Lo de Celia more suitable to their tastes with an older crowd who is serious about tango.
