One of the best ways to understand Argentine tango culture is to throw yourself right into the mix. A milonga is basically one big tango dance party, where you mingle among several different partners, meet new people, and give those dancing shoes a workout. You might want to take a class or two before stepping out on the town to show off your moves, but have no fear: there’s a milonga out there for everyone.
