Summary: The Teatro Colón is renowned as one of the best opera houses in the world. Taking on the horse-shoe shape of Italian opera houses, and integrating French architectural elements on the exterior, this is one building that is not to be missed.

LandingPadBA.com Recommendation: Since the interior is currently closed for renovation, dedicating an entire afternoon to this site is entirely unnecessary. Still, an afternoon picnic in Plaza Lavalle with the company of architectural greats, the Teatro Colón and the Palacio de Justicia, is not a waste of time.
