Eat and participate with a local asado (Argentinean bbq). Learn about the asado customs and general information about the city in a very relaxed atmosphere.
The tour is an experience where guests can learn about asado customs and information about the city in a very relaxed atmosphere. Participate in creating a typical weekend family asado (local bbq) that Argentina is so famous for.
Your guide will take your group (semi-private, no larger than 10 people) to the butcher shop, the bakery, and the wine store, all the while walking the cobblestone streets of Palermo Viejo, just like a local family would do. Settle in at a large private home (not a restaurant) and help prepare the asado guided by the very capable hands of a master parrillero (local grill master). It is a first hand experience of learning how to prep the meat, create the salad, build the fire with charcoal and wood, and all the while learning about the neighborhood.

FAQ: What is the cancellation policy for this tour?
If you decide to cancel with at least 1 week’s notice, or if the tour can’t take place for reasons beyond our control (i.e. heavy rainstorm or flooding) then you will receive a full refund.
FAQ: What happens if it rains?
Yes, and we don’t cancel for rain either, unless it’s very heavy. An Argentine asado doesn’t cancel for anything. This does take place in a private residence so in the case of increment weather we could eat indoors.
FAQ: Are children welcome?
Yes! We offer a 50% discount to children ages 6 to 10 years old, and we do not charge for children 5 and under.
Bring a hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, and shoes for a day of walking, cooking, drinking and eating. The walking tour bit is about 1 hour long.
