Check out the artistic exposition (oils and acrylics) “Movements Enveloped” by Skye Brannon and Bea Ferretti. Open and running until September 7th from 12 noon to 9:00 pm. Entry is free. Location: Scalabrini Ortiz 573, Galeria Zorz El Tunnel.

Wednesday, August 31st:
-Join BAFA Football Amigos and play with travelers, expats, students and locals alike on Wednesday. Five-a-side football matches organized by BAFA. Matches starting at 7pm and 8pm at Soler 3231. Cost is $25 pesos per game.
-A special series of concerts will be taking place in the beautiful Palacio Paz on Santa Fe 750 in downtown Buenos Aires. Raphael Lutschevsky will present Partita in B Flat Major (Bach) – Legend / Nocturne in B Flat Major; Concert Paraphrase “Krakowiak Fantastic” (Paderewski) – Polonaise in A Major, Op.40 (Military; Four Impromptus and the Polonaise in A flat Major, Op.53 (Chopin). Tickets for the first 5 rows are $120 pesos, rows 6-20 are $80 pesos and all back sections are $50 pesos. Reservations can be made at telephone 4311 – 1071 in Spanish or you can show up 45 minutes before the show to make purchases.
Thursday, September 1st *Discount Day*:
-Cafe de los Angelitos Dinner and Tango show is offering their executive service (transportation to and from, 3 course dinner, bottomless wine glass and 1.5 hour tango show) for $115 USD discounted from the public price of $125 USD. -The Expotrastiendas Art Fair begins at La Rural exhibiting both professional and up and coming artists. 12 noon to 9 pm September 1-5, tickets sold at the door for $38 pesos.
-Fierro Hotel, located at Soler 5862 has quietly begun to hold small group wine tastings for up to 7 people in their cellar room Thursdays at 6:00 pm. $25 USD per person for 6 wines from Salta, San Juan, Mendoza, Rio Negro and Neuquen Argentina are served along with light snacks and hors d’oeuvres. Friday, September 2nd:
You dig jazz, cat? Head over to Club Notorious on Callao 966 in Recoleta for free entry at midnight. 2 for 1 Warsteiner beers and a jazz jam session. Good way to start your Friday night.
Saturday, September 3rd:

-The Buenos Aires Pub Crawl will be throwing their first Cowboys & Indians Pub Crawl. Come dressed up to win the costume contest and get VIP treatment to Terrazas del Este.
