I went to the River Plate vs Argentinos Juniors match. Meeting point was El Cuartito (Authentic Argentinian Pizza Restaurant, a must visit place) for beers, empanadas and pizza. Then it was off to the ground in mini buses.
I bought an ‘authentic shirt’ from outside then into the ground. Seat (standing) was right down at the front behind the goal. Atmosphere was incredible from start to finish and cant describe what it was like when they turned the firehoses on pre-game and at half-time (mental!!!)

Although I am not a football fanatic, I went on this tour with my husband who is, and it is one of the best tours
I have ever taken.
Our guide Fernando took us on a historical, cultural and societal look into the role of football in Argentine society.
It was so interesting and really gave us a glimpse into
Buenos Aires.
Highly recommend whatever connection or not you
have to soccer.
