Despite the ever increasing inflation in Buenos Aires you can still find some good deals as a visitor. There are services and products that are still inexpensive comparably to our home country’s standard offerings. Mind you that the pricing below is bound to change soon! (August 2018) Let’s focus on the pampering services!

Massages in Buenos Aires

An hour professional massage runs on average about $85 USD in the U.S., £60 in London or $90 AUD in Sydney. Here in Buenos Aires, this service has yet to get hit by inflation. A half hour massage are about $500 Pesos presently. *Yes, for an hour long, 60 minute massage you would pay $900 Pesos or $30 USD…you see, there are still great deals to be had in Buenos Aires!

*Prices are always on the move here in Argentina with the dollar and peso exchange constantly moving around.

One of the more spectacular deals we have come across is with the recently relocated “Urban Spa” called Verde Manzana. Presently they are offering hour long general massage at $790 pesos (August 2018)! Judging by inflation rates and how this is about $100 Pesos below the market value, it’s a matter of time before they raise their rates, but hey, enjoy while it’s around! Some English spoken.

Manicures and pedicures in Buenos Aires

Manicures and pedicures are still relatively inexpensive in Buenos Aires as well! There is one nail salon that came highly recommended by all the females at LandingPadBA. Queenies, offers manicures (also for men), full pedicures and a variety of other nail related services. These folks are fully licensed, boast to use only sterilized tools and the highest quality imported OPI and Chanelle polishes. English spoken, owner is bilingual.

Note: This is probably the top nail salon with the highest quality service and products in Buenos Aires and it only costs about $15 USD!
