Football Group Tour: Velez Sarsfield

A 10 title division holder and 5 time international cup holder (Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup), Velez Sarsfield is often one of the most overlooked Argentinean futbol clubs. In the past 10 years they have been a regularly top ranked team and have defeated the more well known clubs consistently. If you are seeking good, quality Argentinean futbol then Velez is the team to see.

Their stadium known as “El Fortin” (“the fort”) seats close to 50,000 people and can really get loud when facing larger clubs like San Lorenzo, Boca Juniors or River Plate. The elite fans known as “Fortineros” (or fort people) flock to the stadium in Liniers (West Buenos Aires) and on some occasions invite those that are interested to parade into the stadium with them in their “murga” (carnaval like parade).

Summer break will take place between December 2023 to January 2024 with the new schedule, pricing and seating options for the late January to July season being announced in January 2024. Please Email Us to be added to the January to July 2024 futbol announcement list to be notified when the schedule, seating and pricing have been confirmed. We will be making announcements and keeping everyone up to date come August when the schedule is official and seating is confirmed.

In the event of a cancellation we will apply the stadium, AFA or FIFA’s refund or rain check policy as our own. In the event of a suspension, rain checks will be given and we will do our best to accommodate the guests’ needs. If the newly scheduled football game cannot be attended by a guest we will do our best to resell the space/ticket for a partial or full refund.
