Boca Juniors stadium, La Bombonera is a must see while visiting Buenos Aires. If you love football, are thirsty for the history and humorous stories of the beautiful game in Buenos Aires, then this stadium, museum + city tour covering multiple neighborhoods is for you!
For those poor souls who are being dragged along with you: Our Boca Juniors oriented stadium and museum tour will cover some of the most important areas of the Buenos Aires city center too. The guide will tie together the neighborhoods of San Telmo, Retiro, Puerto Madero and La Boca into the overall football theme offering up great photogenic areas and unique stories along the route. The general history of the city, the barrios, how soccer came to be in Argentina will all come together over this 3.5 to 4 hour tour.
Boca Juniors stadium has been closed for public tours since Feb 2022 so we have replaced the stadium tour portion of the day with the largest Argentine stadium in the country and rival to Boca, River Plate!
Ever heard of a professional player being drunk during a game and actually scoring a goal? We have, and you’re going to learn all about him.
What if we told you that River Plate’s colors (Boca Juniors’ arch nemesis) are hidden in some of La Boca’s murals? You’ll see it soon enough and learn why.
This tour is for football fanatics and will include plenty of opportunities to see some of Buenos Aires most picturesque neighborhoods. The famous “El Caminito”, La Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo just to name a few. Our bilingual guides are well read when it comes to the history of Argentina, experienced and will encourage questions, random stops along the route and enjoy improvising.
What this soccer tour is not going to be: Football fans and independent travelers rejoice! This is NOT the generic Boca Juniors stadium tour every massive, run of the mill tour site is offering. These are our local, knowledgeable football guides who have a legit passion for the sport, our specially planned route, tons of fun facts and unique information plus improvised extras. This is the only place you can reserve it. We do not offer this tour through giant travel sites because it is not meant for gawking groups who simply want to tick the box that is La Bombonera.
Pick up some history, politics and humor along the way as you get to know our guides in this one of a kind tour.
