Though unexpected, the truth is, Argentines are avid tea drinkers. It is no surprise that great gourmet teas have become available in Buenos Aires in the last few years. Some local brands, as well as imports, the growing variety reflects Argentine specialties as well as a few foreign indulgences.

4 Comments for Top 5 Teas in Buenos Aires
Nice article! I’ve been a fan of Inti Zen since I moved here a couple years ago–great stuff. I also just tried some of Sugar & Spice’s teas and they were excellent. Thanks for the list to try some more!
Maria,
You might not know, but IntiZen is Tealosophy – it’s one of two lines of boxed teas that Inés produces, the other being herbal infusions, Chamana.

*Chez Pauline and Sugar and Spice are teas by Teeson, The New Tea Experience
I’ve been many times in this Tea room tealosophy, its a nice cool place, but the attendants are always so slow!
You have to wait 30 minutes for your menu, tea, juice, bill or whatever you ask.
The teas blends are practically artificial due the mixes are too complicated, she overdone mixing lots of flavors so the last result is a cup of cheap deodorant you are sipping.
I’ve received many as a gift and they are definitely harsh and overmixed artificially candied flavored!
